The ENERGY is partly innate and partly from a deep inner drive to always surpass his own potential. He fears that if he fails, he will let his precious friends down. His favorite magical animal is a Chinese dragon, all sinewy strength and symbolic benevolence. He regrets not being strong enough to change the world around him, and not being able to save a friend when he was a child... a tragedy that he keeps a deep secret.

Before, he had a strong instinct that he was an evil murderer. That instinct still kind of niggles at him, but with lack of any substantial evidence, he has decided that it's an unfair prejudice.

OH DEAR. XDDDDDDDDD He thinks Ikki has COMMENDABLE ENERGY AND ENTHUSIASM and likes all the YOUTHFUL ANTICS he gets up to!

It's probably not spandex, but he's definitely attached to his sturdy green training jumpsuits, which he wears under his robes for patrols and without robes for running, workouts, training practicals, and basically any time he feels like it. He considers them the most comfortable garment in existence. XD
