Not a moment to myself for a week... haven't been assigned so grueling a task in over three years. Once the target started moving, he just!wouldn't!stop!!!!! And you CAN'T perform an effective surveillance operation with only one operative, you just CAN'T; it's ABSURD; it JUST DOESN'T WORK!! You lose the target the first time he gets into a car or slips out of sight in a department store with sixty-seven possible exits.... but I stayed on his trail NO MATTER WHAT IT TOOK... and now he's holed back up in his old building, which has only one exit that I could detect. And they finally agreed to send backup. If they really want this oddball followed, at least they could do it RIGHT.

Yeah, it can be! Ah, sometimes I yearn for more time to myself, but there's nothing like being busy to keep one's spirits up!
