*waits for a moment, but doesn't hear anything besides the spattering sound of the spell hitting a tree; slips forward through the mist, then holds out a twig, as far from himself as he can reach, and snaps it in two -- making a sound like an unwary footstep*

*wanting to cast a spell, but not knowing whether it would work or not, stays put. Holds wand to chest, closes eyes and whispers something to self, barely audible to even himself, a small voice then escapes from behind a tree to Gai's left...*

*snaps around, heart thumping -- did Lee somehow get under the Whomping Willow? But he could have sworn it was in the other direction....*

*risks speaking aloud, stepping to one side immediately afterward* ..Lee?

*eyes widen in shock* What...? You mean it...

*steps out immediately from behind a tree on the opposite side, armed with wand, quickly points at Gai and yells- *

*rolls to his feet and casts Rictusempra, the tickling jinx, at the source of the yell*
